More than 500 people attended the annual COMPASS fundraising luncheon held Tuesday at Long Hollow Baptist Church. Board President Lisa Crockett was very pleased with the turnout.“On behalf of the Board of Directors of COMPASS I would like to thank everyone that attended our annual fundraising lunch,” she said afterwards.

“We were overwhelmed by the support and generosity shown to us and are pleased to announce that we raised in excess of $43,000. Mr. Cal Turner and Ms. Michelle Rhee were outstanding as our keynote speakers and we cannot thank them enough for sharing their vision with us. I would also like to thank our Gold Sponsor - Dollar General, our Silver Sponsors - David & Diane Black, TVA, Volunteer State Community College, AT&T and the many Trail Blazer and Table Sponsors who helped make this event so successful.”
